Manley
Hot Springs:
Arrived March 4. Drilled 12ft deep monitoring system at Gladys Dart School.
Tanana:
Arrived at Tanana March 5, 4pm. (Maudry J. Sommer School location)
Ruby: Arrived in Ruby just before sundown on March 6. No mishaps on the 120 mile leg, but battled a crosswind the whole way.
Kaltag: Kenji and Tohru arrived safely in Kaltag in the afternoon, March 8. They will stay until the 10th and then head toward Shageluk.
Shageluk: Kenji and Tohru arrived safely in Shageluk on March 10th after a 165 mile leg of the journey. They plan to rest and drill tomorrow. On Monday, they will talk to kids at the Innoko River School before heading to their next destination.
Holy Cross: Kenji and Tohru arrived at 3:30pm March 12. The weather is sunny and feels relatively warm. Tomorrow they will head to Russian Mission.
Russian Mission: Kenji and Tohru arrived around 3pm today (March 13) after 6 hours on a rough trail. They put in a monitoring site this afternoon (Russian Mission School).
Marshall: The trail between Russian Mission and Marshal was rough again with lots of sand and ice. Kenji and Tohru will be leaving for Saint Mary March 15 for the conclusion of their expedition.Powered by GMAPEZ
