IARC Scientist Engages Local Adults with Climate Change Activity

IARC Education and Outreach Director Elena Sparrow recently worked with Fairbanksans, including an Athabaskan elder and the director of a native educator association, at the Association of Interior Native Educators (AINE) at the beginning of May. IARC Chief Scientist Receives the Research Lifetime Achievement Award

IARC Chief Scientist John Walsh received the 2013 Research Lifetime Achievement Award at UAF’s 6th Annual Research Day on April 30th. The award, given by the Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, recognizes individuals for their “sustainable lifetime contribution” to research and the University of Alaska.
